Tropi Tan Supports
Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Flint, MI October 4, 2017: The Tropi Tan tanning salon chain is once again supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a special promotion. Customers will be able to purchase a specially-designed T-shirt to receive a free tanning session, and Tropi Tan will donate a portion of those proceeds to Hurley Medical Center’s Breast Cancer Patient Navigation Fund.
“We’ve all been affected by breast cancer in some way,” commented Tropi Tan Founder/CEO, Vince Lorraine. “This is just one of our many annual fundraising promotions, and I believe that keeping it local helps the most people in need,” he added. “I’m always happy to give back to the community that has been so good to me.” Tropi Tan is celebrating 38 years in business in Greater Flint.
Hurley Medical Center is the only hospital in the region certified by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), the accrediting body of the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer. The Breast Cancer Patient Navigation Fund helps support those who are severely sick and financially unable to meet the costs of healthcare while meeting other living expenses including food, utilities, and shelter.
