Q: What is the
Sun Club?
A:
The Sun Club membership is Tropi Tan’s best value
and is ongoing until you cancel it. There are three
(3) types of Sun Club memberships available at Tropi
Tan and all are guaranteed to be the lowest monthly
membership fee* we offer, year round. All Sun Club memberships
have an initiation fee; however, that fee is waived
for first-time Sun Club members. See the panel to the
right for description, benefits and cost of each Sun
Club type. *Membership fees may vary at franchise salons.
Q: How do I
pay for a Sun Club?
A:
Sun Club payments are easy and convenient. You never
have to pay for your membership in the salon –
payments are automatically and safely billed to your
credit card, or debited from your checking or savings
account on the 15th of each month through our secure
system. You can also pre-pay your membership up to 12
months.
Q: How long
do I have to keep my Sun Club membership?
A:
You can cancel your Sun Club anytime; however, Level
1 and Level 2 Sun Club memberships must be active for
12 consecutive months or an early termination fee of
$39.95 will be applied. Sunless Club memberships must
be active for three consecutive months, or an early
termination fee of $54.95 will be applied.
Q: Can I put
my Sun Club membership on hold?
A: YES!
All three memberships can be put on “freeze”
for any reason – you pay a maintenance fee of
only $5 per month, instead of the full monthly membership
fee. Level 1 and Level 2 Sun Club memberships can be
frozen for up to six (6) consecutive months every 365
days. Sunless Club memberships can be frozen for up
to nine (9) consecutive months every 365 days.
Q: Is the Sun
Club right for me?
A:
That depends on how often you tan. Let's take a look
at the numbers: If the typical tanner tans January through
June (6 months) at an average price of $32.95 per month,
the total cost of buying (6) 1-month memberships is
$197.70 (6 x $32.95 = $197.70). If you have an active
Level 1 Sun Club membership for six (6) months at $18.88
per month, and then freeze your membership for six (6)
months at $5 per month, your total annual cost for the
Sun Club would be $143.28 (6 x $18.88 = $113.28 + 6
x $5.00 = $30.00). That's a savings of $54.42 per year
for sessions in Level 1 tanning systems. Level 2 and
Sunless Club members save even more! |
Q:
What are the additional benefits of being a Sun Club
member?
A:
Besides getting the GUARANTEED lowest monthly membership
fee year round for as long as you’re a member,
additional Sun Club benefits include exclusive discounts
on upgrade sessions (even more discounts when you purchase
a 10-visit upgrade package), as well as no expiration
date on those packages, plus 40% off all lotions, 25%
off all sunless products, and other exclusive specials
as long as you’re a member.
Q: What are
my responsibilities as a Sun Club member?
A:
Your responsibilities are: 1.) Tan responsibly. 2.)
Keep your account funded so that your fees can be charged
on the 15th of each month. 3.) Provide Tropi Tan with
up-to-date credit/debit card info (if applicable) at
all times, so that your membership payment is not declined.
If you need to update your credit card info, you must
do it by the 10th of any given month to ensure your
payment is not declined. You can do this at any Tropi
Tan Tanning Salon. 4.) Enjoy your Sun Club membership!
Q: What happens
if my payment is declined?
A:
In the event we’re unable to draft your membership
fees, a $15 non-payment charge will be applied to your
account along with the membership fee and must be paid
in the salon prior to your next tanning session.
Q: How do I
cancel my Sun Club membership?
A:
There are two (2) ways to cancel your membership: 1.)
Stop into any Tropi Tan salon and let the staff know
you’d like to cancel your membership. They will
print a form for you to fill out. 2.) Visit http://www.tropitan.biz/sun_club_
maintenance.html and fill out the form to cancel your
membership.
Q: If I cancel
my Sun Club membership, can I rejoin at a later time?
A: Yes,
you can; however, you’ll need to pay the appropriate
initiation fee. For that reason, you may want to consider
“freezing” your membership, rather than
cancelling it. |
